Born in Serbia, Pera has lived in Salzburg since 1992. He studied educational sciences and completed his master’s degree at Paris Lodron University Salzburg in 2014.
His passion for the accordion has remained unbroken for more than 40 years. Live performances across Europe, especially in the Balkans, as well as guest appearances on television and radio, bear witness to this.
Pera has taken part in numerous Yugoslav and Austrian competitions and received several awards, most recently first prize as an instrumentalist and singer at the “Cultural Showcase of Serbs” organised by the Serbian umbrella association in Austria.
The music of the Balkans, with its wealth of rhythms and melodies, continues to fascinate Pera. His musical versatility and openness to new musical paths make him one of Ostbeatbend’s central pillars.
